• “Act” as Financial Institutions Act and its regulations;
• “Agency” as a licensed insurance agent authorized to act as an employer;
• “A&S”, as Accident & Sickness;
• “Council” as Insurance Council of British Columbia;
• “E&O” as Errors and Omissions Insurance;
• “FICOM” as Financial Institutions Commission;
• “Firm” as a licensed adjuster authorized to act as an employer;
• “Other jurisdiction” as any province other than British Columbia, or any other country; and
• “Rules” as Council Rules.
