General Insurance Adjusting

An adjuster licence allows the licensee to act as an insurance adjuster in the province of B.C. Effective January 1, 2005 section 168 of the Act defines an insurance adjuster as:

“… a person who makes an adjustment or settlement of a claim under a contract of insurance other than a contract of marine insurance.”
