Travel Advisory for Examinees – FIFA World Cup 2026.

Please see below for more information.

*Examinees are advised to plan their travel in advance due to expected traffic congestion, road closures, and transit disruptions associated with FIFA World Cup 2026 events.

To avoid delays and ensure timely arrival for your exam:

Plan your travel route ahead of time and check for updates before departure
Allow extra travel time, especially during peak event days
Arrive early, as parking availability may be limited near exam locations

Please also be aware that watch parties and match-related events may be taking place near the Vancouver and Surrey exam locations. This may result in increased noise levels in surrounding areas. Ear plugs will be available to examinees upon request.

To write the LLQP exam in BC, a LLQP Eligibility Verification request must be submitted through the online portal for review. The Insurance Council will review your submission for completeness, verify the status of your LLQP pre-requisite course, and confirm your eligibility to write the exam, before you may schedule your exams. Please note that it may take up to 3 business days after submission to review and approve your registration. See the Exam Information and Registration Process page for information on how to submit a LLQP Eligibility Verification. Once your submission has been reviewed and approved by the Insurance Council, you may then schedule your exams. Processing times can be found here. Note: You may not need to submit a new LLQP Eligibility Verification request for review if you have previously written exams within the last year with the Insurance Council, and you have a valid LLQP prerequisite course certification. Examinees must arrive at the exam room at least 15 minutes before their scheduled exam for check-in on exam day. Late examinees will not be permitted to enter the exam room.

About Exam Schedules

As exam registration fills up quickly, not all exam dates may be available. For the most up-to date exam availability, exam registrants can log into their account on our online portal.

Examination fees are forfeited if the examinee fails to reschedule a scheduled examination before its rescheduling deadline.

Examination fees are forfeited if the examinee fails to attend a scheduled examination. If the examinee is unable to attend a scheduled exam due to a medical reason, they may reschedule their exam by submitting a written request along with a doctor’s note to the Examinations team for consideration.
