The online Insurance Licensee Directory includes publicly accessible licence information for all current licensed insurance agents, agencies, adjusters, and firms in British Columbia. The directory allows you to search for individuals and corporate entities, and includes licence status, class, and agencies/firms they are authorized to represent.

About the Directory

Please note, the Insurance Licensee Directory does not include information regarding:
  • General Insurance Trainee Registrations
  • Pending insurance licence applications (if more than 10 business days since Council has acknowledged receipt of all application requirements, contact our Licensing team)
  • Licences terminated prior to March 1, 2008
  • History of a licensee's authority to represent an agency/firm.

Authorization Status (Life and/or Accident and Sickness Insurance)
“Not an authorized representative of an insurance agency” means the life and/or accident and sickness insurance agent does not currently have authority to represent a licensed insurance agency. This term replaces the previously used term “unaffiliated.”
