Rules 5 - Council Fees

The Insurance Council brought forward proposed changes to Rule 5 Council Fees for public consultation from March 12 to May 11, 2021, as part of its Council Rules Review Initiative.  

Following a review of consultation feedback on proposed updates to Rule 5 Council Fees, the voting members of Council, passed a motion to submit the proposed changes to the Minister of Finance for approval. The proposed amendment to Rule 5 has been approved by the Minister, and will be effective September 20, 2021. The Council Rules have been updated to reflect the change and are available here.
